You say you cut curly hair.  Tell me more.

Kate is our curly specialist, however, everyone at Shear Wattage is great with curly hair! Kate provides customized curly hair sessions. In which, she starts with an in-depth consultation, dry curl cut, shampoo & conditioning, followed by styling and product/styling education. 

Who can get body waxing done?

Anyone over 18, or a minor with adult permission. Kacie is an expert body waxer, and prides herself on her quality, efficiency, and knowledge. There are a few body waxing areas that are female only. Kate and Olivia offer facial waxing only.

Do you cut everyone's hair?

Short answer, yes. We are happy to service all ages. Olivia specializes specifically in haircuts, as well as another stylist that is well versed in all hair, as well as a curly hair specialist. If you request an appointment, and we feel like we cannot accomplish what you are requesting, we will promptly let you know and suggest another salon in town if possible!

Can I just walk in?

Unfortunately, we do not typically have appointments available for walk in , but it never hurts to give us a call/text to see if we have a last minute opening!

What kind of color services do you do?

Every stylist differs in what color they do, or love doing. If there is something specific you are looking for, just ask! Color services that popular are: 

All over color, Highlights, Money piece, Dimensional color, Fashion/Vivid color.

Do you have set hours you are open?

We do not have set, specific hours for the salon as a whole. Each stylist has their own schedule with customized working hours. There is typically someone working Monday - Saturday, with varied hours. Each stylist has their hours posted at the bottom of their page on this website.

Cancelation Policy

  • If you need to cancel your appointment, please do so at least 24 hours in advance, as this will allow us a chance to offer your appointment to another guest, and keep you from incurring a rebooking fee.

 

  • Cancelations with LESS than 24 hours before the appointment will be considered a Late Cancelation, and subject to the Rebooking fee.

 

  • Rebooking Fee vary depending on the stylist.

  • Rebooking fees are due within 7 days of your canceled appointment.

  • *all deposits/rebooking fees are non-refundable*​

Redo Policy

  • Please contact your stylist within 48 hours if unhappy with your services, 

  • If You leave the salon truly happy and your husband/wife, boyfriend/girlfriend, parents/etc does not like your hair and you want to change your hair color, there will be additional charges as this is not a valid reason for a redo free of charge.

  • Color clients will be subject to additional cost of color if they change mind on original hair color.

Social Media Policy

  • Before & After photos are used for social media, website, & marketing. 

  • When asked if its ok to take your picture that gives consent to post them. 

  • If you want, please share and tag yourself!

  • If you don't want your face shown, just let us know.
